Some of these factors are unavoidable; you can prevent your skin from looking dull, dry and showing signs of premature aging by following a simple and healthy skin care routine. Tip 1: Cleanse twice a day Cleansing your skin is a “MUST” to prevent bacteria from damaging your skin. It’s very important to cleanse your skin twice a day to remove dirt, bacteria, makeup and excess oils. It’s very important to use mild cleansers or natural soaps sited for your skin type and avoid over cleansing your skin more than twice a day to prevent more breakouts and drying by stripping off the skin’s natural protective oils. Tip 2: Exfoliate! To reveal soft and smooth skin Exfoliating the skin helps remove dead skin cells, excess oil and helps with better blood circulation leaving the skin soft, smooth, radiant, renewed and younger looking. Exfoliate 1-2 times a week to avoid over exfoliating to prevent redness, itchiness, and skin irritation. Over exfoliating can lead to unwanted damage to delicate skin. Tip 3: Tone for deep pore cleansing Using a good toner for the skin type can help restore the skin ph level and also help remove excess oil and leftover makeup. Toning is not really necessary. Try to choose alcohol free toner to avoid drying out the skin. Use toner after cleansing the skin with natural cleanser or soap.   Tip 4: Moisturize! Moisturize!! Moisturize!!! After cleansing your skin, it’s very important to apply moisturizer why the skin is still damp to help form a protective barrier against the skin and the environment. For very dry skin, choose a rich, thick and creamy moisturizer to help hydrate and soothe the skin. For a combination, normal or oily skin types consider a lighter moisturizer. Avoid over moisturizing to avoid clogging your pores and always moisturize in the morning and before going to be at night. Tip 5: Prevent sun damage and premature aging Using sunscreen is a very important step of healthy skincare routine. Sunscreen is the skin’s best defense against harmful sun rays. Make sunscreen part of your daily healthy skin routine and wear a hat for extra protection on sunny days. Use sunscreen product with SPF of 30 or higher and even in the winter, sunscreen is very important. Don’t skip it!
